Bandits reportedly kidnapped wife of Abdulrazaq and his two daughters Maryam and Hafsat.

On Friday, gunmen suspected of being bandits raided Mereri village in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State.

AbdulRazaq, a lecturer at the Federal College of Education in Gusau, and his two daughters, Maryam AbdulRazaq and Hafsat AbdulRazaq, were reportedly kidnapped by the bandits.

According to eyewitness accounts, various properties, including money, were plundered in the Mareri village, which is located on the outskirts of the state capital.
