Buhari lands in Maduguri to commission a number of finished projects.

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), has arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, from where he will fly to Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State.

Buhari’s chopper reportedly left Aso Rock at 10:04 a.m. on Thursday, according to our source.

The President is in Maiduguri to commission a number of projects that Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, has undertaken and finished.

Governor Zulum proclamed on Tuesday that President Buhari has been a strong supporter of Borno State and has made sacrifices so that the people can live in peace, harmony, and growth.

He said that Buhari has spent more than $50 million to provide the people of Borno State with steady and sustainable power and energy.

Meanwhile, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is presiding over an Extraordinary Federal Executive Council meeting in the Council Chambers as the President is on his way to Maiduguri.
