Fans To Watch Nigeria Vs Tunisia Game For Free At Four Viewing Centres In Apomu, Ikoyi

It will be a football frenzy for fans of the Super Eagles resident in Apomu and Ikoyi area of Isokan Local Government in Osun State, as the Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Honourable Yemi Azeez Lawal has made provisions for them to watch Sunday’s AFCON 2021 Round of 16 match between Nigeria and Tunisia.

The three-time African champions will battle familiar foe, Carthage Eagles in a repeat of the AFCON 2019 third-place game between both teams at the Estadio Roumde Adjia in Garoua, Cameroon.

In a chat with his Media Aide, “A delightful Honourable Lawal is as passionate as every Nigerian who loves the Super Eagles and have keenly followed their progress at the ongoing 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.

“On the other hand, the Coach Eguavoen led team, have not disappointed as they have repaid the faith Nigerians have in them by winning all its group matches and qualified to the knockout stages.

“As a good gesture from Honourable Lawal, anxious fans in Apomu and Ikoyi will get to catch a glimpse of the Round of 16 game between Nigerian and Tunisia live at four viewing centres in their area.

“The venues are Taolas Viewing Center opposite Central Mosque, Bodmas Viewing Center quarry area and Easy life Molete area which are all located in Apomu. While fans in Ikoyi can also watch the match at the Starlight Viewing Centre Alamu Adesina.”

Meanwhile, in compliance with Covid-19 rules, every fan is required to wear a nose mask at the four viewing centres and be orderly too as maximum security is guaranteed.

Recall Coach Eguavoen in his pre-match chat on Saturday in Garoua said; “My team will remain focused. I will keep my team line-up. There is no room for complacency and we will respect Tunisia and work hard to get the job done. My team will practice more penalties and set-piece situations.”
