Silver Medalist in the men’s football at the 12th African Games in Rabat and former Flying Eagles midfielder, Eteng Victor Arikpo has been signed with Royal Trust FC Agency.
Royal Trust FC Agency is a reputable sports marketing firm based in Lagos and has a certification with the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).
Ogunmefun Hassan Olayinka, Royal Trust FC Agency Chairman/Director said they are delighted to have Arikpo join the sports firm.
Arikpo, owned by Chukwumah Chiedu Odili expressed his delight after signing for the sports agency.
Arikpo in his words, “I’m delighted to have signed up with Royal Trust FC Agency, and I’m positive they will help set my football career on track as I hope to play in Europe with a top-flight club in the nearest future”.
Arikpo, a former junior International was in blistering form in 2019 as he had six caps and scored four goals for Nigeria.
He helped Paul Aigbogun Flying Eagles to win a silver medal at the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) B U-20 tourney in Togo, where he played four games against Niger, Ghana, Mali and Senegal.
At the 12th African Games in Rabat, Morocco, Arikpo who played in two games against South Africa and Burkina Faso, also won a silver medal as the Flying Eagles succumbed to a 0-2 defeat in the hands of Burkina Faso in the final of the men’s football event.
Arikpo’s good form earned him a place in the 30-man provisional roster for the 2019 FIFA World Youth Championship (WYC) in Germany.
