While Leicester United or Manchester united will take Southampton.
Chelsea FC will slug it out against the dominating Manchester City that has been leading the Premier league.
All the teams tied together will slug it out at Wembley on the weekend of April 17-18.
Breaking: National Sports Festival Ends Indefinitely For Lack Of Fund
Organizers of the National Sports festival which was supposed to be held in Edo state, has cancelled the yearly festival over what they described as the insincerity of the Federal government in provision of fund for the sports festival.
According to the Coordinator of Media and Publicity, National Sports Festival, Ebomhiana Musa, the Federal Government has failed to fulfill its promise to make funds available for the festival.
“The Local Organising Committee, Edo2021 regrets to announce that it will end the games abruptly tomorrow, Thursday, April 8, 2021, for lack of funds,” the statement read.
“Rising from an emergency meeting this evening (Wednesday), the LOC says it has to take this hard decision due to lack of funds having expended its reserves to kick start the games.
“Regrettably, the FG is yet to redeem its pledge to support us as the host state financially for the cost of postponements. So, we are left with no option but to end the games at noon tomorrow.”
The National Sports festival was officially declared open on Tuesday and some events had been decided as of Wednesday night.
Nationalwatchng recalls that the National Sports festival which was supposed to hold last year was also postponed because of Covid-19 lockdown.
Breaking: Sunshine Stars of Akure Players Protest Unpaid Salaries
Players of Sunshine Stars of Akure, Ondo state on Tuesday morning protested non-payment on three months salaries and other allowances.
The protesting Sunshine players said they have not been paid since commencement of the 2020/2021 NPFL season.
Some of the inscriptions on the placard of the Sunshine players read: “Governor Pay Us Our Salary”
Fans have blamed the poor morale as one of the reasons the Sunshine Players have not won any of the 11 matches played this season.
Football fans over Nigeria have taken to social media to condemn the non-payment, which some of them who spoke to Nationalwatchng, contribute to why Nigeria league is not growing.

CAF Bans Live Watching Of Super Eagles Match
Fans of Super Eagles will not be allowed to move in their numbers to cheer up their players as Nigeria faces Lesotho on Tuesday in Lagos.
This directive Confederation of African Football CAF, said was to avoid crowding and spread of Covid-19.
Speaking on the CAF directive, on while Lagosians and other Nigerians who may want to come Lagos to enjoy the match live at Teslim Balogun Stadium, the Chairman of Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC), Sola Aiyepeku, said, it was because of the confidence that CAF have in the Nigeria that it gave room for a sizable number of fans to be allowed into the stadium.
“The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and their counterparts from Lesotho will be played under strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols, the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has ordered.
“What this means is that the chance of Lagos fans watching their darling Eagles live at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere on Tuesday, March 30, is restricted to just a few thousands fans.
“Authorising Nigeria as the first African Nation to have fans in the stadium at this time speaks volumes of CAF’s confidence in the country and our ability to cope with strict crowd control demands.
“Lagos has made plans to abide by CAF’s guidelines by meeting all requirements.
“We all have to make sacrifices to ensure all things work out well.
“This is for our long-term good, bearing in mind the situation in which COVID-19 has put the entire globe.
“On this note, we will strictly abide by CAF’s decisions on the need for fans control as it is a necessary decision for public safety.
“CAF has uniquely given us permission to have a very limited crowd in the stadium for the game because of COVID-19 restrictions in the interest of public safety.
“We are working with the Nigeria Football Federation on a strict selection process for the few fans that will be in the stands,” Sola Aiyepeku said.
Continuing the LSSC Boss said, “We know most people in Lagos really want to see the Super Eagles, and we are hopeful that as we all continue to do our parts in the effort to fight this pandemic, very soon, Super Eagles will be able to play in Lagos before a full capacity crowd.
“The state government is working hard to successfully host the match as all hands are on deck to ensure both Super Eagles and Lesotho contingents enjoy Lagos hospitality throughout their stay in the state.”
