Archbishop Desmond Tutu, South Africa’s anti-apartheid icon, died on Sunday, and his funeral has been scheduled for January 1, according to his foundation.
For his last respect, the Foundation stated that “While arrangements for a week of mourning are still in their infancy”, the period would lead to the archbishop’s funeral on January 1 in Capetown.
