New literature books have been adopted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board for four language topics, including Literature in English.
The information was revealed in JAMB’s weekly bulletin on Monday, which indicated that the modifications would be implemented beginning with the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
Arabic, Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa are the four language subjects.
Lion and the Jewel by Wole Soyinka, Look Back in Anger by John Osborne, Second Class Citizen by Buchi Emecheta, Unexpected Joy at Dawn by Alex Agyei Agyiri, and Wuthering Heights by Emile Bronte are among the new texts for Literature-in-English.
