Adegoke Qamar an undergraduate of the Oduduwa University, Osun State has been named the Footballer of the Year and Sportsman of the Year.
Qamar stole the show after he walked away with the two prestigious awards at the varsity’s Institute of Sports Awards held last week at main auditorium of the citadel of learning in Ipetumode.
Qamar, the School team captain is a student of the Department of Economics and beat other nominees to win the Institute of Sports top gongs.
Top personalities that also receive awards at the citadel of knowledge is the Osun State Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Special Needs, Honourable Yemi Lawal, Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede, and General Coordinator Nigeria’s First Pre-Season Tournament Ogunjobi Gold Cup, Tunde Shamsudeen, among others.
