Oyo Sports Commissioner To Unveil Cameroonian As Crown FC Head Coach

The management of the Nigerian National League (NNL) club, Crown FC of Ogbomoso has made a u-turn on Akeem Busari as it will on Wednesday, unveil Cameroonian Anthony Encho as the new Head Coach.

Busari, a former Gateway United Head Coach was to make a second return to Crown having worked with the team from 2014 through 2016 but between Monday and Tuesday, Encho became the favourite for the vacant plum Ajilete Warriors job.

Encho, who left ABS FC of Ilorin by mutual consent will be unveiled on Wednesday by the Oyo State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede.

The 45-year-old has arrived Ibadan, ahead of his scheduled unveiling to replace Oladunni Oyekale, whose contract was not renewed at the end of last season.

Encho, who was born in Fiango Kumba, South-West Province, Cameroon, has a rich resume as he has a T-Licence in Football Coaching Education, from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Thailand.

The new Crown FC Coach also had a certificate of participation from Ajax Soccer Play, football coaching course, Laddu Academy, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

He completed his CAF-C Licence in 2017 in Abuja and Advanced Certificate of Coaching from the National Institute for Sports, Lagos in 2018.

As a player, he played for ElecSport Football Club, Limbe South-West Province, Cameroon between 2000 and 2002 and later moved to Maritime Football Club, Ekondotiti South-West Province, Cameroon from 2002 to 2003.
